So Where Do You Put All Those Neat Flyers?
Well, They Start Right Here.

(And please Don't Confuse the monthly Icons with Flyers.  Hosts should still design a flyer for their C&F or Luncheon.)
(Flyers should be submitted to the Editor as source files (word, adobe, etc) at least 1 to 2 weeks before the event so typos, etc can be corrected and it can be published.)

So for the August 23rd Corks & Forks;

People who's last name starts with A-H
"should" bring
a Salad
People's who's last name starts with I-P
"should" bring
an Entrée
People who's last name starts with Q-Z
"should" bring
a Dessert
Remember, your C&F dish is meant to
serve 8 people. (Should means your family "should" bring the recommended dish, however, one of the other dishes is permissable - but please bring one of them).  Visiting family and friends are always welcome.

   (or similar) = Completed

This is where the flyers for the upcoming Corks and Forks go - Unfortunately, I'm way behind on recreating them.....

July 26, 2019 Corks & Forks (Continued)

The Old Time Radio Players

We've seen them before. . . Let's enjoy them again.

Set your calendars for Friday, July 26, 2019
at 6:00 PM (Bacall Rec Center).

We're hoping to get at least 50 people in the audience, so invite your friends and neighbors from outside the WCBM area.  This may be a once in a lifetime event.

BUT

remind them that they need to bring some food to share:

If their last name begins with:

A - H:    They "should" bring an Entree'

I - P:     They "should" bring a Dessert
Q - Z:
They "should" bring a Salad

So far, there's no charge but we may be asking for a small donation at the door later.....
Then again, it may just be FREE!!

Spaces for the flyers of this year's future C&F's (and Ladies Luncheons) have been added to give the host plenty of time to create and send a digital copy to the editor (editor@witherspoonpath.com).

Here are the neighbors without email addresses that I'm aware of.  Each month's host should make sure that they get a flyer (paper copy) stuck on their front doorknob.  Everyone else has access to the Chronicle.

1. 1306 Witherspoon Path - Tony and Linda Zula - No computer - No email address.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!
2. 1348 Witherspoon Path - Dave and Melda Pike - Out of town?  Rental?  Renters are welcome to the C&Fs.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!
3. 2259 McDuffie Court - Janet Reilly - Out of town? - no phone # - no email address.  Rental?  Renters are welcome to the C&Fs.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!

So, as the host, you'll need to print out only three (3) flyers to distribute by hand (assuming that you send an electronic copy to the editor (editor@witherspoonpath.com) at least a week before the C&F.

And as always, if you're hosting the C&F, contact me and pick up the four LARGE tubs of supplies (plates, forks, glasses, napkins, other utensils, etc.) up to a week before your C&F.

All we ask is :

(1) First, you check to see what you have in the tubs versus what you may need,
(2) if you need to purchase more supplies and end up with some left over,
that you donate them to the correct tubs for a future host,
(3) return the tubs to The Editor within one or two days after your C&F so the next host
can benefit from them.

Do NOT pass them to the next host.

Hint - Hint:  Highlight everything on this row (of the flyer to be added later), copy and paste it into something like a blank Word document.  Then just print it, circle your choices and bring it to Connie or Terri with $$$ (cash or check).

"China Grove" is a song on the Doobie Brothers' 1973 album The Captain and Me. It was written and sung by original main singer/songwriter Tom Johnston. The song reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.
