Well, They Start Right Here.

Corks & Forks News
To avoid ending up with 127 42 desserts, it is
recommended
that our C&F dishes follow
the chart below.......

With all the confusion, I totally missed putting Bob & Merrie in as Co-Hosts for the Feb 22 C&F.  Same thing is happening with the March 22nd and the May 24th, and December C&F.  See below for the actual co-hosts.

So for the March 22nd Corks & Forks;

People who's last name starts with A-H
"should" bring
a Dessert
People's who's last name starts with I-P
"should" bring
a Salad
People who's last name starts with Q-Z
"should" bring
an Entrée
Remember, your C&F dish is meant to
serve 8 people.

(or similar) = Completed

And there was a flyer for the February 22nd C&F - I just got it too late to include.  Don't forget to get them in to the Chronicle at least two weeks early.  It's not like everyone reads these pages every day.

Spaces for the flyers of this year's future C&F's (and Ladies Luncheons) have been added to give the host plenty of time to create and send a digital copy
(email or text it) to the editor (editor@witherspoonpath.com).

Here are the neighbors without email addresses that I'm aware of.  Each month's host should make sure that they get a flyer (paper copy) stuck on their front doorknob.  Everyone else has access to the Chronicle.

1. 1306 Witherspoon Path - Tony and Linda Zula - No computer - No email address.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!
2. 1348 Witherspoon Path - Dave and Melda Pike - Out of town?  Rental?  Renters are welcome to the C&Fs.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!
3. 2259 McDuffie Court - Janet Reilly - Out of town? - no phone # - no email address.  Rental?  Renters are welcome to the C&Fs.  Put a flyer on their doorknob!!!

So, as the host, you'll need to print out only three (3) flyers to distribute by hand.

And as always, if you're hosting the C&F, contact me and pick up the four very large tubs of supplies (plates, forks, glasses, napkins, other utensils, etc.) up to a week before your C&F.

Yes, there's that many supplies !!

All we ask is :

(1) First, you check to see what you have in the tubs versus what you may need,
(2) if you need to purchase more supplies and end up with some left over,
that you donate them to the correct tubs for a future host,
(3) return the tubs to The Editor within one or two days after your C&F so the next host can
benefit from them.

Do NOT pass them to the next host.

Ladies Luncheon News

Ladies, all you have to do is:
(1) Pick your month
(2a) Choose a restaurant
(2b) Make the initial reservation for 15-25 in the first week of the
month for the 3rd Thursday
(3) E-Mail or Call Terri Eamigh with the name & phone number
of the restaurant.

Flyers (below) are not required (but they really, really look nice)
and (1) they're very informative and (2) they're used to keep everyone knowledgeable of the date !!

"When Johnny Comes Marching Home" (sometimes "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again") is a popular song from the American Civil War that expressed people's longing for the return of their friends and relatives who were fighting in the war.
